100 Random things...

1. My favorite chocolate is dove truffle eggs…but they only come out for Easter.

2. My little splurge to treat myself is Jelly Belly Jelly Beans…and yes…I like the buttered popcorn.

3. I love New York State…I’m a New Yorker at heart…even with the crazy weather.

4. I love the mountains

5. My absolute favorite artist to listen to is Andrew Peterson.

6. I don’t like tomatoes but I love Marinara and Ketchup.

7. I grew up in a family of bottle uppers…especially in conflict.

8. I married a let’s deal with it now person and am still learning to express myself in those times.

9. I am an eternal optimist who married a realist.

10. I tend to see the good in everyone…and then am discouraged when I discover the negative.

11. I love classical literature.

12. I love to teach…I’ve taught 3rd and 4th grade and High School English along with gym, music, Bible, and Speech.

13. I wanted to go to BBC and become a teacher since I was little and I went to my Aunt’s graduation from BBC…and she became a teacher.

14. I have to write…I love it but it’s something I have to do…I hope one day to publish a book.

15. I loved growing up at camp. I have a ton of friends and extended family from there. I also got married there.

16. This will be the first summer in my life that I have not worked at a camp or camp-like place.

17. I like everything to be in its place and organized.

18. I am highly analytical.

19. I tend to be indecisive because of it…I’m trying to weigh all the options.

20. I love being creative and am good off the cuff.

21. I love kids and have so much fun working with them.

22. I lived on the worst side of Syracuse for a few months and worked at an inner city community center for about a year.

23. I spoil by brother and am drastically different in personality from my sister.

24. My mom and dad can best be described as Red Green married Martha Stewart (before the whole jail thing)

25. I’m more like my dad…a country girl who even when she tries to look polished ends up spilling something on herself.

26. I was a lifeguard forever and learned to swim when I was 3.

27. I have visited Alaska, Jamaica, London, Paris, and Kenya.

28. I love to travel but do struggle with jet lag and culture shock.

29. I will be celebrating my 2nd mother’s day.

30. My first car was a white Chevy Corsica and I loved it!

31. My husband and I knew each other for 10 years before we started dating.

32. We started dating in March, got engaged in July, and got married in September (all in 2001).

33. I met Kevin at BaYouCa.

34. I love the smell of Lavender.

35. I’m afraid of having cancer because so many people I know have died of it.

36. I have had a kayak on my Christmas list for about 10 years and still haven’t got one.

37. I was scared of cooking but Rachel Ray helped me learn.

38. I’m not the best at baking and don’t like working with dough.

39. I want to get into photography.

40. I tend to be the brunt of my families jokes.

41. I like to make people laugh.

42. I’ve climbed 11 of the high peaks in the Adirondacks.

43. I love bargain shopping and am pretty good at finding deals.

44. My favorite places to go are used book stores and libraries.

45. I picked out my engagement ring and band to match.

46. I graduated from college debt free.

49. I hurt when others hurt...I have sort of an internal emotions thermometer.

51. I never went to New York City until my senior year of high school.

3. We never really took family vacations unless it was to visit relatives but we did a lot of day trips.

54. I’ve moved 20 times since graduating from high school.

55. I’ve played the flute for a few years in jr. high and high school but want to learn to play piano.

56. I have always sang and usually have some song going through my head.

57. I hate matching clothes because my mother always dressed my sister and I in coordinating outfits.

58. If Kevin and I look to matchy, I will go up and change.

59. I don’t know if I have a sense of style when it comes to clothing.

60. I do have an eclectic style in decorating.

61. I scrapbook, stamp, and crochet.

62. I love having an herb garden.

63. I wish I had been more involved in school activities but I was usually busy with camp.

64. I didn’t get my license until right before I left for college.

65. I am a paradox…I love being with people, but I love being home as well, I love variety but I can’t handle too much change.

66. I really want a lab puppy again but my husband doesn’t want 2 babies in the house.

67. I have to have real maple syrup.

68. I have never been and will never be a size 4 or have a flat stomach.

69. I am highly sentimental and most of the objects around my house have a story.

70. I didn’t get into country music until after college but now I like it…it goes with the whole sentimental thing…I love the stories it tells.

77. I love going to country fairs and festivals and the New York State fair…but I hate really big crowds.

85. I never wanted to be a pastor’s wife but always knew I wanted to be in ministry.

86. I never went to red lobster until Kevin took me there and now it’s one of my favorite places to go.

87. I love wearing sandals, especially Tevas.

88. I want to get baby Tevas.

89. I come from a family that doesn’t know how to stop or say no but I am learning to.

90. I love being with people but at times tend to be shy in situations I am not familiar with.

91. I don’t think I am extreme in anything.

92. I like Starbucks but my husband is the huge Starbucks fan.

93. I like ordering new things at restaurants and Kevin orders the same thing every time.

95. I like reading maps but don’t always have the best sense of direction.

96. I have terrible hand/eye coordination.

97. I can quote most of Princess Bride.

98. I want a rocking chair on my porch and a porch swing.

99. I don’t like singing in the shower.

100. I think my husband has more clothes than I do.
